This isn't one of the pictures from the same roll as the ones below, but this
is the best place that it seemed to fit in. This is a sunset shot from a park
just off of Northshore as you leave Knoxville headed toward Farragut. It's one
of my favorites.

A round window from the side of one of the bars along the Old City strip.
Another one of my favorites. Simple geometry and some texture.

I was surprised that this one turned out. It was getting dark, and the
surrounding tall buildings really cut the sunlight down. The park was closed
that day, so I stuck my camera through the bars on the gate and used the gate
to hold my hand steady for the 1/30th exposure time. All the white dots are
petals from the surrounding trees that have bloomed.

A shot of the Old City. I liked the tecture and imagery in this one.

This is another of my favorites. The street is being reflected against the
glass of the window. Again, I'm surprised that it turned out so well. The
reflection didn't look that crisp when I was looking at it through the viewer.

I liked the composure, but it was a little overexposed for what I was shooting
for. (No pun intended...)

I have tried to get a good shot of this building, and I haven't found what I'm
looking for yet. But so far this is the best I have managed.

This is another good one. Most pictures of city streets feel wrong. I couldn't
put my finger on it until a friend noticed that everything is designed to fit
cars, not people. The perspective seems wrong to me, for what I'm aiming for.
But this one seems to capture the feeling that I'm after.

The old headstones are the best. They just knew how to carve stuff in those
days, I suppose.

A downtrodden woman stands forever morning the fact that she's covered in
litchen and pigeon poo...

This stone angel stands before the cross, beconing to anyone who will hear her
plea, as the sunlight streams in from behind her. (This is another shot that I
never thought would come out right.)

My photography buddy for this outing. She'd probably be ticked if she knew her
picture was up here, but I think that it's an awesome portrait.
