Sarah And Brian Blake

I met Sarah here at the Laurel Church of Christ, where I attend services. She claims that we met sometime in January, although my earliest memory of her is actually at Gateway '98 in February. She quickly became my best friend, and she was the first person to ask me to take pictures for her.

She already had a place in mind -- the UT Trial Gardens on the edge of the Agriculture campus. The original idea was that we would go there alone and take the pictures, but as it turned out her fiance Brian was in town the weekend that we actually did the shooting. ...And yes, that means he saw her in her dress before the wedding. Get over it.

Anyway, we must have taken something like four rolls of 36 exposure film, and Brian took another two with his camera. That's a lot of pictures! Here are what I consider to be the best shots from the four rolls that I took. We switched to black+white for the last two rolls, and toward the end we were running out of sunlight. Some of the B+W pictures don't have much depth as a result. Even still, I consider these pictures to be some of my best work.
