I use mathematical models to research intragenomic genetic conflict
and social evolution. My current research focuses on the evolution of genomic
imprinting, the maintenance of recombination hotspots, the evolution of
cooperation. The joy that this research brings to my life (as captured in the
above picture) is only comparable to the happiness that the cicadas’ chant
bestows on the estival evenings of Knoxville. |
